Direct measurement to CAD model
Our 'state of the art' CAD based PC-DMIS measurement software allows direct comparison to CAD data, via IGES, DXF, STEP, Catia and VDA file formats. We are also able to reverse engineer, taking your part measurements back into the CAD world.

Our range of CMM’s include a high accuracy Brown and Sharpe Scanning CMM which ensures a high degree of confidence. With a measurement range of 900mm x 1500mm x 850mm we cover most applications, larger components can be catered for on request.
NEW! 3D Laser Scanning
Using state of the art Laser scanning equipment TRAC Measurement are capable of capturing highly accurate point cloud data which can be used for a variety of applications. Reverse engineering has become a standard procedure for engineers in a wide range of markets. The technique can be used in product development, production engineering, cost down programmes and refurbishment of components. In situations where the engineer has only 2D data or no drawing at all, TRAC will scan the component and generate a solid CAD model. The file can then be used to modify or manufacture the component. STL files can also be produced to allow the production of rapid prototypes and prototype castings.
